Psycho-Educational Evaluations

Psychoeducational Assessments consist of a cognitive evaluation and academic achievement testing. The purpose would be to assess a child’s strengths and weaknesses so appropriate recommendations can be provided.

Components may include:

Cognitive functioning (IQ)
Reading: fluency, phonological skills, test of comprehension, language
Writing: spelling, mechanics, organization, handwriting, language usage, ideas
Mathematics: numeric knowledge, Visual spatial, organization, word problem solving, fluency
